PAUL Heaton and Dave Teague have won Evesham Golf Club’s Men’s Invitation competition.
Evesham member Heaton and Teague from Little Lakes Golf Club carried off the trophy after carding 65.
Guests from 18 different golf clubs joined Evesham’s members for the event.
Twenty-eight pairs played in the betterball format.
While Heaton and Teague took the top honour, club secretary Fraser Williamson and guest Steve Johnson from Handsworth were second.
Michael Haughtey and guest Andy Barber, from Cleeve Cloud, were third all of whom also had 65s.
Michael Callaghan and guest Luke Perry from Gaudet Luce achieved the best gross of 74.
Nearest-the pin were Anthony Rock and Gary Guest from Little Lakes.
The longest drive member was also Rock, while Chris Martin, from Sherdens, wa best guest.
