FIVE goals from Skye Drinkwater fired St David’s School to the Cotswold Floorball League Girls’ title at Chipping Campden.
Ruby Farrell and Bella Righton were also on target as an outstanding team recorded a 7-3 victory against Bourton-on-the-Water in the final.
St David’s led 5-0 at half-time and opened up a 7-0 advantage. However, a spirited Bourton rallied with late goals from Lauren Jefferies (2) and Jess Souch.
Former Great Britain player Debbie Honour coaches both teams and was proud of their efforts. Floorball is a type of floor hockey with five players and a goalkeeper in each team.
