EVESHAM'S Lewis Spiers is racing in the prestigious Super One British Karting Championship this year.
Competing at tracks all over the country the 10-year-old has just over 12 months experience in the seat.
Last year at Rissington KC Championship in the Cotswolds Spiers finished in sixth place overall and he also managed top-10 positions at other club meetings.
In February at Cumbria Kart Racing Club in Frizington the youngster was on the podium after finishing in second spot.
Spiers, who attends Evesham St Egwin's Middle School, then managed third in March at Shenington Kart Racing Club near Banbury.
