PERSHORE Town extended their unbeaten run to four games with a well-deserved 3-3 draw at sixth-placed Racing Club Warwick in Midland League Division One.

On a heavy pitch Pershore started brightly and Jamie Clarke opened the scoring from close range after 12 minutes, finishing a pull-back by Ben Lane.

Warwick immediately equalised through Joe Wright.

After 21 minutes Steven Roche flicked on a long ball for Clarke to get in behind the defence, round the keeper and score only for Town to again concede soon after to Wright.

Town went ahead again after 55 minutes when Chris Priest and Steve Webb linked down the right.

Full-back Webb’s shot from the corner of the penalty area went over the keeper and in off the far post.

Town continued to create chances but with five minutes left the hosts equalised with an Alex Price free-kick from the edge of the area into the top corner.

Town are two points off the relegation zone among a group of four sides separated by just one point.

Leaders Bromsgrove Sporting romped to a 6-0 win at basement boys Southam United with Jason Cowley (3), Luke Shorthouse, Luke Edwards and Chris Lloyd on target.

Sporting host Bolehall Swifts tomorrow night (7.45pm).

Stourport Swifts moved up the Premier Division to 17th with Alex Perry among the scorers as they won 2-1 at Shepshed Dynamo.

Westfields have just one win from their last 10 games after a 2-1 home defeat to relegation-threatened Brocton.

Craig Jones had a penalty saved but scored a late equaliser only for Brocton to net their second in injury-time.

Fields visit Highgate United tomorrow night and Swifts head to Coventry United (both 7.45pm).
