TEN-man Evesham United ended a run of five matches without a win thanks to a much-needed 2-1 victory at Larkhall Athletic in Bath.
The Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South and West play-off hopefuls were missing eight players through injury, suspension and illness.
The visitors took the lead just before the half-hour mark when Garyn Preen scored after good build-up play.
Evesham were reduced to 10 men in the 36th minute when midfielder Carl Brown was harshly sent off.
Eight minutes into the second half Larkhall equalised through Joe Tumelty.
However, on the hour Mark Magee put Evesham back in front.
Despite manager Paul Collicutt being sent to the stands for persistently leaving his technical area the visitors held on to stay in fifth place in the league.
Evesham: Sawyer, Bryan, Stanley, Brown, Harding, Williams, Gray, Sheehan (Binns 58), Magee (Edenborough 85), Mann, Preen. Subs not used: Gilder, Sloggett.
Attendance: 176.
