FIT-again Jordan Bryan is set to return to a “recharged” Evesham United side to face former club Bishops Cleeve in Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South and West tomorrow (7.45pm).

The midfielder, who moved from Cleeve to the Robins in the summer, has been struggling with an ankle problem in recent weeks.

But manager Paul Collicutt, whose fifth-placed side were not in action at the weekend, confirmed Bryan was back in contention.

“The break has given the lads the chance to recharge their batteries and, for those who had knocks, a bit of time to recover,” said Collicutt, who will be without the suspended Ashley Williams.

Elliot Kennedy (groin) and Sam Pearson (quad) remain on the treatment table.

Collicutt continued: “Jordan trained well on Thursday so he comes back having been out for two or three weeks.”

Evesham will look to extend their winning streak in the league to eight matches when they take on 16th-placed Cleeve at the Jubilee Stadium.

Collicutt added: “I watched Cleeve play Taunton in the FA Trophy and they were very unlucky not to get a result (lost 1-0), so we will have to be on top of our game.

“We have got a couple of games in hand on everyone else, so it’s important we get something out of this match.”
