EVESHAM United came from 2-0 down at half-time to earn an FA Cup replay with Northern League Premier Division outfit Barwell.

Despite being a division below, the Robins started the first qualifying round tie brightly and created the better chances early on.

But it was the visitors who took the lead midway through the first half when Linden Dovey was adjudged to have fouled Amar Sandhu in the box and Brady Hickey scored the resultant penalty.

Evesham suffered a further blow on the stroke of half-time when Owen Story burst through the home defence and scored from 10 yards.

But Paul Collicutt’s side hit back at the start of the second half as substitute Lance Smith had an effort turned into the net by Barwell’s Story.

Evesham continued to press and with 14 minutes left their cause was helped when Sandhu was sent off for a second yellow card following a dive.

In the 81st minute, Evesham levelled after a good run and cross by sub Leon Jeanne that was tucked home from close range by Smith.

Hereford FC will also have a second bite of the cherry as they were held to a 1-1 draw against Romulus when both sides finished with 10 men.

John Mills gave Hereford the lead just shy of the half-hour mark when he smashed the ball home.

But Northern League Division One South side Romulus fought back after the break as Mark Branch levelled from the penalty spot on 70 minutes.

Tempers then frayed as Cameron Lee received a second yellow before Hereford’s Pablo Haysham was given his marching orders moments later.

Meanwhile, Hereford side Westfields secured their place in the next round in emphatic fashion as they cruised to a 4-0 win over St Ives Town.

Goals from Aidan Thomas and Sirdic Grant in the opening 10 minutes of the second half sent them on their way.

St Ives went a man down when Jordan Jarrold saw red before an own goal and a late strike from Dan Polan completed the rout.

There was disappointment for Redditch United as they were knocked out of the cup following an agonising 2-1 defeat at Coalville Town.

Callum Woodward put the hosts in front on 60 minutes before Clayton McDonald scored the equaliser late on.

But with six minutes left Coalville grabbed the winner when Brad Munn headed in a corner.

Alvechurch and Stourport Swifts drew 1-1 in the Midland League Premier Division.

Luke Paskin fired hosts Church ahead on 71 minutes at Lye Meadow but Ben Maund equalised four minutes later.

Pershore Town lost 4-1 at Hinckley in Division One with Jamie Clarke scoring but Littleton beat Heather St Johns 4-2.

Connor Perry-Holmes (2), Matthew Fusco and Ben Judd scored for Littleton.

Nick Seabourne scored a hat-trick as Droitwich Spa beat Earlswood Town 5-0 in Division Two.

Matthew Hunt and James Lemon also netted.

Malvern Town crashed 6-2 at leaders Wolverhampton Sporting Community in the West Midlands League Premier Division.
