SWIFT: Worcester Athletic Club’s Sam Morgan in silver position in Warwick
WORCESTER Athletic Club’s Sam Morgan scooped second place in the Gloucestershire Cross-Country League at the University of Warwick in the boys’ under-13s category.
The series is based on competitors’ best three out of four races in Gloucester, Malvern, the Cotswolds and Warwick, attracting runners from as far afield as Bath and Coventry.
The Worcester club also won gold overall in the boys’ under-13s team event, helped by the efforts of Pershore High School pupil Morgan.
