EVESHAM United manager Paul Collicutt believes AFC Totton will bring a goal threat to the Jubilee Stadium in the Evo-Stik Southern League Division One South and West tomorrow (3pm).

Collicutt has had the Southampton-based club watched and says reports indicate Totton are a much better side than their league position suggests.

The Robins are 11th in the table, while Totton are 14th.

Evesham are keen to return to action after their midweek trip to Swindon Supermarine was washed out.

“At this time of year, you expect to get one or two games called off but to have two inside a week is frustrating,” said Collicutt. “But we are looking forward to playing at home.

“Totton have got Mike Gosney who, on his day, is one of the best players in the league.

“He’s played at a higher level and can be used as a striker or on the wing and he’s someone we need to be wary of.

"Nathaniel Sherborne will be another handful for us and has scored lots of goals.

“We had Totton watched recently and, although they lost the game we saw, they were the better team.”

New signing Lewis Powell, the former Mangotsfield Town striker, is poised to make his Evesham debut.

Collicutt is hoping to speak to Cirencester forward Aidan Bennett over a potential move after making a seven-day approach.

Midfielder Clayton Green trained on Thursday night after overcoming a back problem but Linden Dovey (calf) is still struggling for the Robins and rated at 50-50 for the match.

Evesham are adopting a 'pay what you like day', meaning there is not a fixed admission price at the turnstiles.

There will be a happy hour in the bar from 1pm to 6pm with reduced prices on beer and wine.

Season-ticket holders will be admitted as normal and are entitled to a free pint or a free burger.

Evesham's second string visit Coventry United in the Midland League Reserve Division tomorrow (2pm).
