A PERSHORE team are through to the national finals of the British Dressage Team Quest having ridden off competition from across the south west.
‘Pershore Plums’ have been competing throughout the year, culminating in the south west regional final where they were placed first out of 15 teams, qualifying by just four points in a nail-biting finish for the national finals in November.
British Dressage launched Team Quest in 2014 to make dressage more accessible to all riders.
Teams are made up of three or four riders of all ages and abilities with the best three scores going to the overall team total. Competitors can choose to ride an intro, prelim or novice test.
The Pershore team is made up of six riders who have taken it in turns to ride.
They are now practicing hard for the national finals which will be held in Buckinghamshire from November 14 and 15 in the hope that the Pershore Plums can triumph twice on the trot.
