Aimee Lane still leading way in region
EVESHAM’S Aimee Lane shrugged off flu symptoms to finish second in the West Midlands Youth Circuit Series at Lichfield, and still tops the girls’ under 12s table.
The 11-year-old St Egwin’s Middle School pupil then felt better for a closed circuit race in Shrewsbury and took the honours in her age group.
Her next regional race is at her home track of Stourport on Sunday.
