EVESHAM snooker star Carl Saidler regained the Worcestershire Area Championship after fighting back for victory against Kidderminster teenager Taylor Fish.
Saidler, who last won the title in 2013, won three frames in a row to hit back from 4-2 down to triumph 5-4 against the 14-year-old.
Fish edged a close opener but was pegged back to 1-1 before pulling two frames clear.
The fifth frame was crucial as Saidler gained the advantage with a break of 34 only for the youngster to threaten to pinch the frame before missing the final black.
However, Fish was not disheartened and won the next in style to leave himself on the brink of victory at 4-2.
But Saidler kept his cool and a three-frame winning streak, highlighted by a fine 40 break in the decider, carried him over the line.
