WORCESTER Warriors' fringe figure Josh Drauniniu will depart for London Welsh in the summer.

The rock-bottom Premiership side, who are facing relegation back to the Championship, have re-signed the winger as well as capturing full-back Martyn Thomas from Wasps and centre Guy Armitage from London Irish.

Drauniniu, 29, is no stranger to Exiles supporters, having enjoyed an eye-catching season at the club in 2010-11 when he scored 15 tries in 23 Championship appearances to help the now Oxford-based side reach the semi-finals.

He left Exiles in 2011 to sign for Worcester, where he has bagged 24 tries in 54 appearances and finished the 2012-13 campaign as the Warriors’ joint top try-scorer.

The Fiji-born back, who joined the Royal Navy in 2003, also played for Exeter Chiefs and Harlequins as well as being in England's 2009 Sevens World Cup squad.

But Drauniniu has failed to break into the first-team picture at Sixways this season during their Championship promotion push and was restricted to just one appearance off the replacements' bench in the British and Irish Cup.

He said: "It's been a privilege and an honour to wear the Worcester jersey over the last four seasons and I've played with some amazing players.

"The Warriors fans, as always, have been kind to me and I'm sad to go but it's time for a new challenge. The job's not done yet at Worcester so I'm looking forward to this weekend."

London Welsh director of rugby Steve Lewis said: “Josh, Martyn and Guy are three exciting players with proven ability in the top flight. They will add a dynamism to our back play next season and complement the style of rugby we want to play.

“Josh is a fantastic finisher and enjoyed a brilliant season at the club in 2010-11. We hope he can reproduce that form."
