TALENTED Kingham rider Emily Notman finished third at the National Schools County Championships in Buckinghamshire.
The 11-year-old qualified in two showjumping classes at Addington Manor after being crowned Oxfordshire champion from a strong field.
In the final at Bury Farm Equestrian Village, representing Oxfordshire and Holy Trinity School, Chipping Norton, against all the county champions, she managed third place in the one-metre category.
Notman was thrilled with her charge, Take A Chance, as they combined to be the youngest rider and smallest pony in the competition.
