VERITY Farr has been voted Pershore’s players’ player of the 2014 touch rugby season.
She was chosen in a vote of all 40 of the club’s other touch rugby members, for outstanding dedication, consistent attendance, participation and commitment.
Fizz Bewley, chairman of the women’s section, presented Farr with a glass trophy to mark her achievement.
Bewley said: “Verity is a valuable member of our team, both on and off the pitch, and she brings with her such a positive attitude.
“Nothing is too much trouble and she really deserves this award in recognition of all her effort and talent.”
Pershore finished second out of 12 teams in the Midlands Ladies’ Touch League.
The club will field a squad in the new Midlands Mixed Friendly League next year.
Pershore resume training on January 7, starting at 7.30pm on Wednesdays and 10am on Sundays. For more details, call Bewley on 01905 381080 or 07791 546541.
