A GOAL from Harry Peters could not save Moreton Rangers from a 3-1 defeat at Ruardean Hill Rangers in the Gloucestershire Northern Senior League Division One.

Rangers had four players booked in Saturday’s clash and have now won three and lost three of their opening six matches.

Bredon clinched a 3-1 home win over Wotton Rovers, whose goal came from Lee Williamson, in Division Two.

There was much better news for Winchcombe Town, who picked up their first league win of the season with a 2-1 home success against Longford, also in Division Two.

William Parker and Matthew Roberts netted for Town who will host Brockworth on Saturday in the GFA Senior Amateur Cup.

Goals from Josh Catling, Adam Webley and Dan Smith led in-form Bourton Rovers to a 3-0 win at Chadlington in Division One of the Witney and District FA League Division One.
