THE Worcestershire trio of Shaaiq Choudhry, Brett D'Oliveira and England Under 19s all-rounder Ed Barnard have all signed new contracts.

Spinners Choudhry and D'Oliveira have penned new one and two-year deals respectively while Barnard has agreed a further 12-month extension to his present contract until the end of the 2016 campaign.

It means that nine players, eight of them academy products, have committed themselves to the County by either signing new contracts or extensions in the past three weeks.

Choudhry, D'Oliveira and Barnard have followed in the footsteps of New Road team-mates Joe Leach, Chris Russell, Tom Fell, Ben Cox, Tom Kohler-Cadmore and Joe Clarke.
