FORMER Worcester City striker Ethan Moore could make his debut for Evesham United at Bishops Cleeve tonight (7.45).
The 21-year-old scored 12 goals in all competitions for the Conference North club last season but was released ahead of the new campaign.
Robins manager Paul Collicutt has swooped in and is hoping Moore can use his goal-scoring prowess to boost Evesham’s chances in Southern League Division One South and West.
The United boss said: “I know a little about the lad and we will wait and see, hopefully he will be a good signing for us.
“He will be in the squad tonight but whether he starts or not I don’t know.”
Evesham, who drew 1-1 at Fleet Town last weekend, could still be without last season’s leading scorer Lance Smith, as the striker was only due to return from holiday today.
Defender Jared Wilson is also a doubt after picking up a leg injury.
United conceded after just 29 seconds in Hampshire but hit back through captain Matt Sysum.
