LITTLETON are to receive an undisclosed donation from Kidderminster Harriers as a "thank you" for developing Joe Lolley.

The striker scored 88 goals in 83 games for the Midland Combination Premier Division outfit before joining Harriers last summer.

His form at Aggborough, which saw him net 11 goals in 25 appearances, then earned the 22-year-old a lucrative £250,000 move to Championship side Huddersfield Town.

With Lolley not under contract at Littleton, they were not entitled to compensation but Harriers will hand over a cheque ahead of Saturday's pre-season friendly between the teams at Five Acres (3pm).

Littleton manager Andy Robbins said: "It was Kidderminster's suggestion and it's a way of them saying thank you."

It is the first warm-up match for Littleton, who are also due to host Huddersfield on a date yet to be set.

Meanwhile, Evesham United's first friendly is with Newport County at the Jubilee Stadium next Tuesday (7.45pm).
