BADSEY Recreation produced a fine display to severely dent Ecosamba’s Birdseye Sports Evesham Sunday League Division Three promotion hopes with a 3-0 success.

Goals from Attwood, Lowe and Trotman fired Badsey, while leaders Fairfield won 2-0 at Broadway United Reserves thanks to Liam Scrivens' double.

Alcester Town worked hard for a 2-1 triumph over Elmley Castle through Dance and Fletcher with Withers replying.

The top three all won in Division Four as leaders Stratford United came from behind to defeat Tewkesbury Town Reserves 3-2.

Sun Inn defeated Harvington 4-2 thanks to Comfort, Wood, Ed Major and Parry.

Ambassador edged past Bengeworth 3-2 with a Stuart Reading double and Fortis won 2-0 at Vale Wanderers with goals from Saunders and Wallace.

Pebworth triumphed 2-0 at Stour Excelsior Reserves through Mallory and Wilkes.

Division One leaders Pinvin Utd are closing on the title following a 3-1 victory at Bear with goals from Bellamy, Bulford and Blackburn.

Only Bretforton Old Boys can stop them with Gayton and Johns giving them a 2-0 victory at Eckington.

Penfold earned Evesham WMC the points 1-0 to push opponents Defford/Besford United nearer to relegation.

Ward and Layton helped Honeybourne Gate Inn overcome Mickleton Rangers 2-0.

Burtenshaw, Sexton, Jeffs and Jason Horsburgh helped Broadway United win 4-1 at Fladbury Athletic, who went ahead through James.

Tewkesbury Town stretched their lead at the top of Division Two with a 4-0 win at Cidermill.

Promotion hopefuls WMK and Stour Excelsior drew 2-2 and Bredon thumped Tesco United 8-1 thanks to Lee Diamond (5), Carroll, Hayward and Denton.

Alderton won 7-1 at Evesham United Harriers with Baker (2), Greaves (2), Ellis, Charlton and Stocks scoring.
