EVESHAM Casuals (105-5) beat Prince Henry's (102-3) by three runs in the Worcestershire Cricket Board Indoor League.

Peter Cross was run-out without facing but, from 4-1 after Matt Knight's first over, Casuals got into their stride while still losing wickets.

Andy Stanley (11) also got run-out and Tom Pilling trapped Adrian Witts (12) lbw.

Joe Cafearo (16) and James Clarke (46 not out) guided Casuals to 54 before Lee Clarke was bowled by Brent McOrmish.

But last-man Jamie Clarke set a reasonable target and Prince Henry's made a steady start with Dominic Fenney (20) and Gio Capaldi (21) taking the total to 46.

Fenney gave an easy catch off Cafearo in the seventh over before Pilling (25no) accelerated the scoring.

Simon Price was quickly run-out and Capaldi followed, leaving McOrmish (9no) and Knight (11no) needing 27 runs from the final two overs.

They took 14 from Jamie Clarke but just fell short.

Redditch (99-1) lost to Dumbleton (101-1) with seven balls left.

Jack Roberson (26no), Tom Field (25no), Sam Egan (10no) and Mark Evans (14no) scored the runs for Redditch.

Despite Andy Powell's early run-out, Simon Slabbert (25no), Andy Stuart (25no), Matt Nicholson (20no) and Tom Green (11 no) helped Dumbleton home.

On Tuesday from 8pm, Feckenham play Prince Henry's and Bredon face Dumbleton.
