THIRTY lucky students from Chipping Norton School were treated to a memorable rugby master class run by two former Worcester Warriors players in Thinus Delport and Craig Gillies.

It was arranged by Sky Sports’ Living for Sport initiative as a reward for the town school’s continuing dedication to running many projects, including an Olympic festival for primary schools, to try to get young people more involved in sport.

The year seven students benefited from the special coaching session which, despite awful weather, was motivational, fun and a great success.

Pupil Ethan Bennett said: “It was a great, fun experience and I learnt a lot of new things. My favourite bit was when they joined in with our game at the end!”

Fellow student Joe Clarke added: “Despite the weather, it was great to get some tips from ex-professional rugby players Thinus and Craig.

"The coaching session won’t be forgotten and my favourite was the cross-over ball.”
