EVESHAM Swimming Club competitors have started 2014 with a splash, including a record number of medals at the Crystal meet.
Beth Carter claimed bronze for the 200-metre breaststroke as did Oli Foster in the 50m freestyle, while Sophie Pettit won gold in the 50m breaststroke and Molly Cresswell was first in the 100m individual medley along with two silvers in the 50m freestyle and 50m butterfly.
This year, the club are sending a record number of swimmers to the County Championships in March with 23 taking more than 120 qualifying times.
Evesham are still holding time trials so the number is rising with every session.
The club hold their awards night this weekend, having completed the inter club-championships just before Christmas.
