MORETON Rangers were knocked out of the Gloucestershire FA Senior Amateur (North) Cup quarter-finals by rivals Barometrics.

The Bishops Cleeve side top Gloucestershire Northern Senior League Division Two with Moreton six points behind in fifth spot.

Barometrics also gained the upper hand in the county cup with a 5-3 home triumph.

Rangers now go into Saturday’s Cotswold league derby at home to improving, fifthfrom- bottom Winchcombe Town (2pm), who lost 2-1 to third-placed Quedgeley Wanderers last weekend.

  • Chipping Norton Town head the Witney and District FA League Premier Division by three points from West Witney, who boast three games in hand, after drawing 3-3 at home to their rivals.

Bourton Rovers are third in Division Three despite losing 3-1 at fourth-placed Carterton Pumas, while Kingham edged out lowly Nomads 2-1.
