Broadway's captain Stone gets off to flier
BROADWAY’S captains welcomed in the new year with their annual drive-in event.
Club captain Richard Stone achieved a storming 172 yards into a strong wind and rain but the challenging conditions did not dampen the enthusiasm of members and spectators.
Stone’s drive was sponsored and those guessing the achieved distance contributed £78 to his chosen charity for the year, Macmillan Cancer Support.
