TWO talented Broadway sisters won Gloucestershire Women’s Four Piece Apparatus Championships gold medals.

Laoishe MacCana, 16, and Saoirse, 13, shone at the Forest of Dean Gymnastics Centre in Coleford.

Cleeve School pupil Laoishe is the new level three senior county champion and Saoirse, who attends Winchcombe School, won the level four senior category.

They both performed clean routines with good landings and no falls.

The sisters train up to five times a week at Fromeside Gymnastics Club, Winterbourne, which is a trip of more than 100 miles.

Earlier in the year, Saoirse retained her Gloucestershire championship title for the floor and vault, while Laoishe gained a silver medal.

The girls were selected for October’s Bill Slater National Club Team Championships.T
