EVESHAM United have targeted a return to winning ways when they visit Stratford Town on Boxing Day (3pm).
The Robins were beaten 3-2 at home by Cirencester Town at the weekend and remain at the wrong end of Southern League Division One South and West.
But they were in for training last night and manager Paul Collicutt is looking for a repeat of the effort shown against Cirencester.
Collicutt, who grew up in Stratford, said: “I felt we were a little bit unfortunate against Cirencester, especially with the way the players rallied in the second-half and could have come away with at least a point.
“We have got to look to bounce back against Stratford and I am really looking forward to it.”
Midfield duo Neil Barnfield (back) and Mitchell Botfield (foot) are both doubts, as is central defender Alton Axton (hamstring), while striker James Vercesi has a family engagement.
