SHIPSTON-on-Stour jumped above new basement boys Evesham in Midlands Three West (South) with a 32-5 win over their local rivals.
The resounding Mayo Road success moved Shipston up to five points and secondfrom- bottom position, while Evesham are stranded on one.
Both teams suffered points deductions at the start of the season with Shipston losing 10 and Evesham, who have only won one league game, five.
The division now takes a festive break until January 4, when Evesham host Cheltenham North, Shipston visit Ledbury and Pershore head to Old Wheatleyans.
