MORETON Rangers could not stop unbeaten Gloucestershire Northern Senior Football League Division Two leaders Barometrics.
Gary Barnett’s side lost narrowly 1-0 at the leaders and slipped six points behind in fourth place.
Winchcombe Town also fell 1-0 at mid-table Longford and are now fourth from bottom in the table.
Moreton host struggling Soudley on Saturday and Winchcombe entertain Barometrics (both 2pm).
Meanwhile, Chipping Norton Town triumphed 3-2 at Aston in the Witney and District FA League Premier Division with Reece Bayliss (2) and Keiran Watts on target.
Chippy are among four teams on 19 points at the top of the table.
Third-placed Bourton Rovers thrashed Nomads 6-0 in Division One thanks to Stefan Ternier (2), Silas Orr, Matt Winter, Sam Mattock and Lee Mosson.
