MICK Brooks only needed 3-9-0 of hemp-caught roach to win Evesham WMC’s Vic Guise Cup on the Avon at Eckington.
Rick Huxley had a few small fish on the feeder for 2-7-0 and Graham Williams had 1-13-0 of small fish.
Section winners were Mark Sparrow (0-15-0) and Bryan Townley (1-6-0).
- The first round of the Evesham Jubilee Winter League was won by Bob Evans on Jubilee Pool peg J18 with 36lb 4oz.
Runner-up was John Swain on J26 with 31lb 12oz and the three section winners were Alan Gardner (25lb 8oz), Chris Taylor (21lb 5oz) and Martin Smith (14lb 5oz).
Bill Sollis Trophy on Common Road: The Holloway brothers, Jordon and Alex, finished first and second respectively in the junior category.

Seniors: 1 Maurice Taylor 5.06.00, 2 Colin Townsend 4.07.0, 3 Paul Williams 4.01.00.

GRAHAM Williams fished close in to win the latest match at Drakes Broughton, catching carp and f1s on the pellet for 41.4.0.
Mart Woods used the same method for 39.10.0. Vic Woods had a net of 29.15.0.
