EVESHAM United have recruited three players ahead of Saturday’s home game with mid-table rivals Cinderford Town (3pm).

The Robins, due to play at Sholing in Evo-Stik Southern Football League Division One South and West last night, saw their previous game at Bridgwater Town postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

Former Cheltenham forward Luke Corbett has returned to the Spiers and Hartwell Jubilee Stadium after leaving for Halesowen earlier in the season.

Striker James Jones, who has played in Jersey, and returning midfielder Nathan Hands have also signed.

Evesham will stage a legends game between Manchester United and Liverpool on Saturday, July 6 (2pm).

Last weekend’s Midland Combination Premier Division derby between Littleton and Pershore Town was postponed because of the rain.
