CAMPDEN and Ebrington United recorded their biggest Birdseye Sports Evesham Sunday League Division Four victory.

They won 7-1 at Stratford United with Jason Beasley hitting four goals added to further efforts from Wright, Bocock and S Beasley.

Leaders Anchors Harriers triumphed 4-0 at Ambi Allsports with goals from Heritage (2), Quantrell and Smith.

Second-placed Elmley Castle won 3-0 at Pebworth thanks to Badger (2) and Cooper. Dragons dropped valuable points in third spot as they were held 3-3 at home by Sun Inn.

Wilsdon, Gisbourne and Mullins scored for Dragons with brothers Will Major (2) and Ed Major replying for the Winchcombe side.

Vale Wanderers hit seven without reply at Stour Excelsior Reserves with Gould, Marc and Mike O’Connor all netting twice.

A Visor treble helped Alcester Town overcome Bengeworth 5-3. Pershore High Old Boys boosted their promotion hopes in Division Three with a 1-0 win at much-fancied Tewkesbury Town.

Badsey Recreation triumphed 4-1 at Salford Priors to confirm the home side’s relegation with Simms (2), Lewis and Bishop on target.

In Division Two, Fladbury Athletic came from behind to win 3-2 at Bredon. Curnock, Brain and Clements scored for Athletic with Carroll and Diamond on target for Bredon.

Cheltenham Saints and Stour Excelsior shared four goals which did no favours to either side’s promotion hopes.

Evesham WMC managed back-to-back Division One wins as Ford, Dixon and Kacheche scored against Defford/Besford United with Croy replying.

Jamie Clarke struck twice as Bretforton Old Boys reached the Evesham Hospital Junior Cup final at the expense of Eckington.

Broadway United reached the last four with a two-goal win over Pinvin United.

Cider Mill, Alderton, WMK and AC Olympia all progressed in the Minor Cup with the latter recording an excellent 4-3 win at Bear.

  • Broadway United moved within four points of the top of Stratford Alliance Division One with a 4-0 win at lowly Alveston.

Title-chasing Badsey Rangers Reserves also triumphed 4-0 on their travels, seeing off Henley Forest Reserves in Division Three.

Blockley Sports went down 5-4 at home to Wellesbourne.
