CROOME Hunt members Emily Turner and Robert Saunders have reached the Pony Club National Triathlon Championships.
They made the Milton Keynes event on Sunday by beating off stiff competition at the west Warwickshire area seven qualifier.
Saunders, 10, won his section convincingly, taking top spot in shooting, running and swimming.
Turner, 12, came second overall in the girls’ competition, showing great determination with fine displays in the shoot and swim after being eighth after the run.
Kate Saunders was in the winning team but only individuals qualified for the nationals.
