LOCAL rivals Shipston-on- Stour and Stratford-upon- Avon joined their successful under 11s squads together for a big training session.

Shipston’s Simon Bayliss organised the event in preparation for next season’s transition to continuum rules under the supervision of Worcester Warriors’ director of community rugby Steve Joslin.

They enjoyed a safe grounding in contested scrummaging and also line-outs together with rucking and mauling.

The clubs are looking forward to competing for more silverware in a number of competitive tournaments.
