BADSEY beat Old Silhillians 4-2 in Worcestershire League Division One.

The hosts went ahead when Lynne Ellarby fired in from a short corner but Old Sils upped the pressure to level.

Badsey worked hard and were rewarded before halftime through Karen Robinson who met Sarah Rickey’s far-post cross at full stretch.

After the break, Badsey enjoyed the better of the play and extended their lead.

A clearance by player-ofthe- match Fi Jordan was picked up by Rickey who squared for Ellarby to put the ball into an empty net.

Soon after, Jordan repeated the pass and Rickey rounded the keeper before firing in.

Old Sils scored from a late penalty flick.

Badsey’s final home game of the season is on Saturday against Bromsgrove at Evesham High School (1.30pm).
