Round Up

EVESHAM United moved top of Cheltenham Youth League Under 14s Division One with a 7-1 victory at Painswick Youth.

On a cold afternoon, Evesham’s Tom Leonard hit a sweet left-foot shot to open the scoring quickly followed by Jonathon Robinson’s strike.

Painswick struck back just before half-time but the visitors upped the pace after the break.

The goals flowed with Dan Tustin, Dominic Taylor, Thomas Backx, Tariq Lamb and a second from Robinson contributing to their team’s success.

  • BADSEY United carried on their winning streak with a 5-1 success at Shipston Excelsior Reserves in Stratford Alliance Division Two.

After going a goal behind early on, second-from-top Badsey established a 3-1 halftime lead through Neil Bishop (2) and Scott Williams.

The visitors scored another two through Jonathen Gisbourne and Matt Smith to make it 12 wins in a row.
