EVESHAM ladies played the 12-hole Nora Olsen Trophy in blustery conditions.
The winners with 23 stableford points were Pat Catlin and Patsy Brumage followed by runners-up Jenny Marston and Dinah Wood on 19.
The ladies' annual meeting and dinner saw retiring captain Lesley Kewley present the badge of office to her successor Angela Budden.
The new committee was elected with Enid Walker as vice-captain and the charity for the year will be Breast Cancer Care.
- Biting gale-force winds led to Broadway ladies’ winter league fifth round being reduced to a ninehole competition.
Twenty pairs competed in the greensomes match and the fine course condition contributed to fine scores.
Liz Smith and Veronica Rudd won with an impressive 19 points ahead of Lin Everitt and Pat Green (17) and Jenny Brotherton and Mary Cave (15).
Meanwhile, round four of the foursomes competition will be played next week.
