Derbies await for our sides

EVESHAM and Pershore Rugby Clubs have short away trips on Saturday if the weather allows.

The Midlands Three West (South) season continues with Evesham heading to Kings Norton and Pershore travelling to Redditch.

All last weekend’s fixtures in the division, including Pershore’s visit to Cheltenham North, were postponed due to snow.

Evesham have a key game if they are to hold onto fourth place with their hosts, who lost 43-17 at Lower Albert Road in October, sitting five points behind but with a fixture in hand.

Pershore have stepped up their bid for the top two with a fine 10-game winning run in the league and opponents Redditch prop up the table.

However, temperatures are not set to rise above zero until Saturday with varying forecasts of snowfall in north Worcestershire in the meantime.
