MORETON Rangers returned to winning ways with a 2-0 triumph at Gloucestershire Northern Senior Football League Division Two basement boys Stroud.
Having lost 4-3 at home to leaders Hardwicke the previous weekend, fourth-placed Moreton secured their seventh win in the competition.
They scored through Conor Sherry and Martin Tomes, while rivals Bourton Rovers crashed 5-1 at promotionchasing Minsterworth. In Division One, Winchcombe Town remain bottom after losing 5-1 to Harrow Hill.
Moreton Rangers reserves stormed to a 12-0 thrashing of Quinton reserves in the Stratford Alliance’s Nursing Home Cup.
Shipston Excelsior marched on in the RM Smith Cup with a 4-0 win over Inkberrow reserves.
Their reserves fell 7-1 at Welford-on-Avon in Division Two but the colts beat Tysoe Colts 3-0 in Division Four.
