EVESHAM Youth AC fished their Baguley Lake Series final round at Priory pool.

Junior Owen Robinson triumphed with just over 10lbs of roach and carp, while third-placed Reece Grinnell was the series winner.

Juniors: 1 Robinson 10lbs 8oz, 2 Harry Stephenson 10-0, 3 Grinnell 9-0; seniors: 1 Paul Williams 28-0, 2 Cyril Thompson 24-8, 3 Darryl Aylett 24-0.

EVESHAM WMC

MART Woods broke the pool match record at Drakes Broughton in the Andy Bird Shield first round.

He caught 49lbs 3oz of carp, including the heaviest fish of the day at 10-2.

Graham Williams had carp and F1s weighing 17-10 and Mick Brooks bagged 16-2.

Section winners were Bryan Townley (6-12) and Rick Huxley (6-13).

EVESHAM JUBILEE

THE Jubilee Fishery Spring League second round was contested on the Withies pool. First on peg W25 was Richard Ford with 60-0 ahead of Chris Taylor (35-8), while section wins went to John Cox (27-8), Steve Rogers (27- 8) and Phil Seedhouse (22-0).

Members return to the fishery for the silver fish match on Sunday (8.45am draw).
