Littleton search for win tonic

LITTLETON go into Saturday’s Midland Combination Premier Division home match against Pilkington (3pm) looking for their first win in three matches.
The second-placed side have lost 3-0 to Bromsgrove Sporting and 1-0 at Nuneaton Griff but drew 1-1 at Coventry Copsewood on Tuesday night.
In the latter, Jamie Clarke fired them ahead at half-time before an error from keeper Dan Heywood let the hosts in for an equaliser.
Littleton also had chances to earn a draw in a close game against Nuneaton Griff last Saturday. Joe Lolley had an effort deflected on to the bar and was also denied by a fine save.
Clarke came close to breaking the deadlock before the break but was also thwarted by the keeper.
Nuneaton scored the winner seven minutes into the second-half following a corner.
