Pool stars in superb form

PERSHORE youngsters delivered four first places at the Worcester county development meeting in Wolverhampton.

There were 26 personal bests and five county qualifying times set with the star performance by Sam Doyle.

He won the nine years boys’ 50-metre butterfly and 50m backstroke, while Naomi Marsden triumphed in the 10 years girls’ 50m backstroke.

Lizzie Vizard won the 13 years’ 50m breaststroke.
