THIS weekend will be strictly for the birds for many people in Ludlow and south Shropshire as well as in Tenbury and the Teme Valley.
The Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre in Craven Arms will be one of the places staging a special event where visitors will be treated to a day dedicated to birds and all things flying.
Visitors to the Discovery Centre can get up close to Chris Neal’s Birds of Prey. Chelmarsh Owl Sanctuary will also be bringing a variety of lovely owls for visitors to see. There will be Butterfly Conservation and the British Dragonfly Society alongside RSPB.

Family activities will be on offer to keep the children entertained including building bird feeders and identification wheels as part of the Discovery Club special. There will also be flight launch activities in the afternoon for 4-11 year olds, booking advised.
