A TEENAGE boy was left with a broken jaw following a vicious assault in a Kidderminster park.

Police are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information relating to the incident which happened at the park in Dunlin Drive.

A police spokesman said the physical altercation took place between 7.30pm and 8.30pm on Tuesday, May 29.

The 14-year-old victim sustained a fractured jaw which later required surgery. There were a number of youths present at the time of the assault.

Investigating officers would like to speak to anyone who witnessed the offence and urge them to call West Mercia Police on 101, quoting incident 739 on 29 May 2018.
