FAMILIES and their foster children were invited to an activity afternoon at Bromsgrove Fire Station.
More than 70 looked-after children, foster carers, birth children, fostering staff and corporate parents attended the event on April 7.
Activities, which ran from 2pm to 4pm, featured fire engine rides, dressing up in uniform, hose down on the drill yard, car cutting and visiting the popular smoke room.
The event was organised by Bromsgrove district councillor Charlie Hotham, and was supported by the Young Firefighters Association and the Fire Mentor Service.
Cllr Hotham said: "This was an enjoyable afternoon with both young people and adults really engaging with the fire service activities.
"The smoke room was an awesome addition. An enormous thank you to the fire crews involved and the Hereford & Worcester Fire and Rescue Service.”
