THE following appeared before Dudley Magistrates Court between January 13 and 19:

Robert Douglas William Bruce, aged 32, of Barston Road, Oldbury, was given a 12 month community order for drink driving in Oldbury on December 24, 2016. When tested, he had 124mcgs of alcohol in 100mls of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He must carry out 200 hours unpaid work and was disqualified from driving for two years. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Kerry Foxall, aged 46, of Carlton Avenue, Stourbridge, was fined £150 for assaulting a police officer in Stourbridge on December 26, 2016. She must pay compensation of £50, a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Harvey Douglas Williams, aged 34, of Severn Road, Cradley, was sent to prison for 14 weeks for stealing a candle from Something Special, Halesowen, on September 11, 2016, while subject to a suspended sentence. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Mohammed Bilol, aged 19, of Barker Street, Oldbury, was given a 12 month community order for driving while disqualified in Smethwick on December 27, 2016. He was also sentenced for driving without insurance and obstructing a police officer in the execution of his duty. He was disqualified from driving for six months and must carry out 240 hours unpaid work. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Richard Brian Salt, aged 40, of Longmeadow Drive, Sedgley, was sent to prison for 12 weeks, suspended for 12 months for assaulting a woman in Dudley on October 13, 2016, occasioning her actual bodily harm. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115 and £185 court costs.

Robert Pugh, aged 35, of Beeches Road, Rowley Regis, was sent to prison for 20 weeks for breaching a restraining order in Oldbury on January 13, while subject to a suspended sentence. He must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

Matthew Paul Morgan, aged 30, of Teasdale Way, Stourbridge, was given a four week community order for driving while disqualified in Dudley on December 31, 2016. He was also sentenced for driving without insurance. He was given a four week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 7pm and 7am. He was disqualified from driving for six months and must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

David James Phillips, aged 26, of Wrekin Close, Halesowen, was fined £200 for being drunk and disorderly in Blackheath on December 31, 2016. He was also fined £400 for assaulting a police officer. He must pay a victim surcharge of £40, £100 compensation and £135 court costs.

Stuart James Busby, aged 36, of Wellspring Gardens, Dudley, was given a two month community order for stealing a men’s shaver set and perfume, worth £139.50, from Boots, Merry Hill, on January 17. He was given an eight week curfew and for the duration must remain at his home address between 6pm and 6am. He must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and £135 court costs.

Darren Anthony Harley, aged 48, of Chestnut Avenue, Dudley, was fined £80 for causing £200 worth of damage to a front door in Dudley on January 1. He must pay compensation of £200, a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Samuel Giblin, aged 26, of Bell Street, Brierley Hill, was sent to prison for eight weeks, suspended for 12 months, for assaulting a detention officer in Oldbury on November 22, 2016. He was also sentenced for failing to surrender to custody at Black Country Magistrates Court on January 13, having been released on bail. He must pay compensation of £50 and a victim surcharge of £115.

Ian Patrick Jones, aged 39, of Bluerock Place, Oldbury, was fined £300 for drink driving in Rowley Regis on January 1. When tested, he had 42mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath. The legal limit is 35mcgs. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.

Deborah Anne Williams, aged 47, of Wellington Road, Dudley, was fined £80 for being drunk and disorderly in Dudley on January 4. She must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and £135 court costs.
