CHILDREN will be treated to a host of festive activities during a library fun day.

The Hive in Worcester will hold a range of events, including storytelling and pantomime on Saturday, December 10.

Councillor Lucy Hodgson, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Localism and Communities at Worcestershire County Council, said: "Christmas is a magical time of year for children and The Hive have organised a full day of fun.

"With decoration activities, pantomime and festive storytelling throughout the day, kids will have a great time, and I'd encourage parents to come along and join in the fun!"

The fun begins with an Elizabethan Christmas decoration session in the children's library, at 10am, noon and 2pm.

Then, Storybox Theatre will perform its Jack and the Beanstalk Christmas Show at 2pm and 4pm.

There will also be interactive story-telling sessions held by Rat-a-tat Tales in the children's library, every Saturday and Sunday in December until Christmas Eve.
