ALL lanes on the M5 have reopened in the last hour following a serious accident last night.
Three cars and two lorries were involved in the crash, between Junctions 5 Droitwich and 4 for Bromsgrove, which resulted in a section of the M5 being closed off.
Motorists suffered heavy delays as the northbbound carriageway was reduced to one lane.
Emergency repairs to the carriageway had to be carried out overnight, leading to heavy congestion this morning, all the way to Junction 6, Worcester.
The northbound carriageway has reopened in the last hour.
Highways England tweeted: "Emergency resurfacing works after a collision are complete. All lanes open, thanks for your patience."
