HARPIST Shelley Fairplay will be bringing her Three Strands Concert to Cradley on Sunday, September 13.

The concert the three emotions of passion, sorrow and joy, and combines traditional and modern music for what has been described as a truly unique afternoon that will appeal to harpists and non-harpists alike.

The program includes diverse musical styles including Celtic, classical and flamenco, as well as music from Doctor Who and Star Wars.

During the concert, Shelley plays the harp traditionally as well as using amplification, loops and effects pedals.

The concert is at St James’s Church, Cradley, from 3pm to 6pm, and tickets, costing £12, include a buffet tea. There will also be the chance to enjoy a Pimms on the church green.
