Abandoned car said to be broken down and awaiting removal by the owner
AN abandoned red Hyundai Getz car which has been parked at the side of the B4084 Cropthorne to Evesham road since Friday March 20 is waiting to be collected, according to police.
The Journal contacted West Mercia Police on Wednesday after the vehicle appeared to be undamaged but had been parked there for several days.
A spokesman for West Mercia Police said they had passed the information to the Evesham Safer Neighbourhood Team who confirmed on Thursday that the vehicle had broken down and was waiting collection by the owner.
